#XPLORE_MARKET intends to promote R&D actions in the knowledge domains of "gamification" and Artificial Intelligence specifically when applied to the tourism domain, proposing and supporting the tourist in "immersive virtual adventures" which enable the discovery of the true identity of a region. This approach shall be supported by a software platform where both regional products and services (transactional) related to Tourism can be combined with Points of Interest (non-transactional) creating and suggesting virtual itineraries for tourists to experience the region by themselves, supported by smartphone / wearable digital devices.
 

WHO IS IT FOR
  • Tourists (national and international) - who visit a region and want to interact with the diversity of local services, products and Points of Interest;
  • Local producers and service providers - who will be part of the "virtual adventure" and will provide the human interface close to tourists;
