Systems Administration
Context and Main Responsibilities
  • Placement in the business area of Systems / Operations.
  • Ensure the management and monitoring of infrastructure (e.g. computers, servers, networks, firewalls, ..) and operation of technology solutions that are housed in company data centers, in order to obtain technical solutions adapted to customer (internal or external). 
  • Plan to respond to service outages and other problems.
  • Ensure the production of technical documentation and operation and user guides.
  • Actively participate in the tenders and technical options in response to commercial / business challenges and assumes respective technical responsibility.  
  • Promote teams technical upgrade. 
  • Monitor market developments, particularly new technologies and their applicability to business solutions.

  • Experience in similar roles in projects of moderate or high size or complexity.
  • As reference, experience of 5-7 years in systems administration. 

Academic, Technical and Market Profile
  • Degree in Computer Science (or a related engineering field) is preferred factor.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, preferably in Microsoft technologies and Unix (Linux). 
  • Good understanding of Web business and technology in general. 
  • Required Knowledge : 
    • Windows Server (2003/2008)
    • Management and deployment of IIS Webfarms 
    • Load balancing technologies and SQL cluster 
    • Configuration and management of network equipment (routers and switches in general, firewalls) 
    • Management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, Spam Filters, Anti-virus 
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • SQL Server 2005, 2008
    • Experience in the implementation and procedures of:
      • Monitoring 
      • Alarmistic 
      • Backup
  • Preferred Knowledge :
    • Experience in projects directly related to the deployment of web solutions, relational databases 
    • Knowledge and certification in the area of ??web security solutions 
    • Cloud concept knowledge and experience (Azure, Amazon, etc.) 
    • Management experience of internal networks and VOIP equipment internally and globally 
    • Knowledge and fondness for scripting languages??, mrtg, and others
