VIATECLA, Portuguese company of technological development and information systems, launched today, at the APDC Congress, the Bridge4Media, an new platform that garantee the management of the life cycle of digital video content, since they are available from the studios until they are bought by the consumer, in diferent distribuition channels, such as online stores, set-top boxes, computers, mobile phones or others.
The Bridge4Media is an Media Asset Management Platform that offers an turnkey solution for the actual digital business on the media sector, including all this business components, since the content catalog until it sales to the final consumer.
The solution developed allows "the better from two worlds, content and technology, in a global solution that can be used by any world operator. the future of the video distribution and the audiovisual e-commerce, in a computer, mobile phone or television, will walk throught solutions like this", explains Pedro Seabra, VIATECLA CEO.
The solution includes workflows for the continous execution of the automatic processes, allowing the video files codification, since they are available from the content producers and respecting all the rules of each distribution channel regarding the resolution, quality and format.
"The business logical of this solution is enclosed in a single platform, a single turnkey solution, that can be used by an content supplier or a content distributor", explains Pedo Seabra.
The platform was developed to solved all the needs of the video content suppliers, the Bridge4Media garantees all the security at the database level and the copyright, and also an secure integration with several payment systems.
At this moment, the company has already several international players using this platform, such as copyright owners, mobile phone manufacters and online video stores.
"We are following the world trends regarding the video online consuming, in replacement of the tradicional video stores or the actual services of the video on demam, provided by the telecom operatores", says Filipe Clérigo, VIATECLA Chief Tecnical Officer.
